The Tale of an Insomniac One Unrestless Night- by: unknown forgotten

My eyes peered at the cieling
My mind wandered up to its massive white plane
Clearing all thoughts, I could not leave one thought
I couldn't get to sleep that night

It was 2:41am
I had watched the last 3 hours pass by
I kept on wishing someone would kill me right then
I kept on saying I'd rather be dead

She layed next to me silent as stone
She hadn't moved a muscle
My body was so full of energy
I thought I was going to explode

I wanted to get up and run around
I wanted to toss and turn
Instead I lay silently, motionless
Sweat forming on my brow

Every muscle in my body twitched
I couldn't keep hold of my thoughts
It felt like it was 100 degrees
I was burning up

The air was so silent!
I was losing my mind!
I lept from the bed
And ran swiftly outside

The air was cool and refreshing
I calmed myself down a bit
Finally gathered all my thoughts
And went back to bed
Where I layed, for another hour or so...
