Past Life Hobo Dreams- by: unknown forgotten
Soon after the land before time
But much earlier than 1853
Sang the songs of drunken hobo's
And train rail songs
Hiccupped to the beat of the times
And layed flat to be cut in thrice
By the gigantic metal wheels of the speeding locomotive
Right after the dinosaurs died
But we were still in control
We tossed our belongings into satchels
And walked the earth as nomad warriors
Campfires under bridges
Fighting of the wild apes full of wrath
With sticks and torches
As we cooked our baked beans
Told bullshit stories
And sang drunken songs of this life
That life we left behind so long ago
That life we now only remember as ancient hobo dreams.
