There's Room For Two- by: unknown forgotten

Empty my pockets
Take off my clothes
Play some sullen music on the stereo
Dim the lights low

I've got motorbikes
They should take me so far
But just like my life
They don't run

Someday I'll repair the damaged machines
Someday I'll get it all running again
But for now I'll sit here rusting

The temperature drops
The heat is turned off
The windows begin to frost
I can see my breathe now

I'm naked on the floor
Sprawled out waiting for something more
I'm waiting for something to fall on my chest
I've been waiting for so long

Wallets empty
No job to wake up to
All I want
Is a ticket to San Diego

But even then
I can't stay forever
My belongings, my life is up here
All that's valuable is down there

I've got motorbikes
When they ride
There's room for two
A seat for me, a seat for you

I'm naked on the floor
Wallets empty
No place to go
But I'm only taking up half
There's room for two

This freezing town
This time of year
There's a place for you
There's room for two
